The Solari Report

The Solari Report had a very unique request for CyBear; create multiple magazine visuals of a "Money Laundrey" facility. A place that looks okay at first, but on closer expection, it get's more and more shady. We must admit, the first idea was just a washing machine for the cover, but it exploded pretty fast into this larger project where we could go wild.

A few of the set parameters were that the scene had to be set in daylight, since nighttime would be a bit too cliche for commiting crimes. So the renders had to be bright. Like really really bright. Also the place needed to be just a bit too clean. I had a lot of fun with the photograph of the CEO and poor employer of the month. Are there really people like that?

With the landscape print quality 300DPI renders we stretched the render capabilites of Cinema 4D and Corona Render quite a bit, but they delivered. Especially working with depth of field of the Corona Render camera's was a blast.

Most of the textures used in the renders were downloaded from Poliigon.com.
