Shell - Salt Water Car Teaser 2018

For this animation CyBear provided for Vigics a car rig base on the original CAD data of the toys.

All the cars were rigged in such a fashion that the wheel rotation could be defined by the length of a spline, a manual (static) value or hand animated speed. Even the tyre pressure, needed for the impact deformation of the tyres if a car jumped or dropped, was completely controlable with User Data.

The entire rig is based on expressions (no dynamic simulations) to keep as much control as possible. Final rendering was done in Octane.
