Brakel - 3D Printed gift

Well, this project was a special one: 3D printed gifts for a prospect of Brakel Wandsystemen. When working on other Brakel projects, I printed one of their Qubes as a physical model, just for fun to be completely honest.

The idea that a 3D model can be an exclusive gift is something that my client remembered well. So when a important prospect came by, Brakel asked me to 3D print a different model.

There was a major time constraint, since the meeting was held in 10 days from the start of the project. Still, with some clever setups and a Bambu Carbon 3D printer, we were able to print 10 Qubes in vibrant orange and mat white. The glass was created using plastic sheets that could be lowered in special slots, so hardly any glue was needed. This setup made the entire model bulletproof. It was a fun exercise.

I hope to add 3D printing more often in future projects.
